About LetsGoHimalayas.com
What is LetsGoHimalayas.com?
LetsGoHimalayas.com is a free trip-matching guide to places worth the journey, well known and little known. You say why you are going — peace, snow, a trek, a pilgrimage, a family trip — and it ranks places that fit your month, fitness, days and budget. It starts with 148 destinations across the Himalaya, Nepal and Northeast India, and new places are added regularly.
How does the matching work?
Pick up to three reasons for your trip, then your travel month, group, fitness, days and budget. Each destination is scored against those answers using its season, altitude, difficulty, days needed and daily cost, and every result also says why it might not suit you.
Which places are covered?
So far Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Nepal, Darjeeling hills, Sikkim, Arunachal, Assam and Meghalaya — treks, hill towns, pilgrimages, road trips, snow and retreats. The mountains are where we started; more places, beyond the hills too, are on the way.
Can I book homestays, cabs or tours here?
No. LetsGoHimalayas.com takes no bookings and no commission. Homestays, drivers and tour operators list themselves for free; you sign in with Google to see their phone and WhatsApp and deal with them directly.
How accurate are the altitudes, seasons and costs?
They are careful estimates, not guarantees. Pages that have not been field-verified say so. Always confirm permits, road status and weather locally before you travel.
